Twisha Sharma
To Twisha and parents,
I've truly been inspired by you over these last three months.
The intensive part of the Ivy League Challenge has now concluded, and I hope you stay active in our community. Access to the community (including monthly impact project support workshops and masterclasses from me) is included in your tuition for the next 9 months, after which you can choose to stay involved for a low monthly fee.
In an attempt to capture your thoughts at this stage of the journey, I asked you a few questions during week 12. Enjoy revisiting these answers below.

YOUR NEXT STEPS.
12 weeks went by so fast! But that was just the beginning. Be sure to stay on track-- even when life gets crazy. We can do this, together.

Engage in the Community
Most students get knocked off track at some point due to academic and other demands.
Commit to join the workshops and masterclasses as often as possible.
Make it a priority, and let us all help you stay on track.

Join the Global Impact Council
Complete the Starter Stage in your Impact Project Guide so you can be nominated to join the Global Impact Council.
Then request one or more mentors who can guide you through your own meaningful impact.

Become a Mentor
Far too many teens are overwhelmed and frustrated with their unhealthy approach to college prep.
It's not right, and you can help.
1. Share your experience with friends or family who might benefit from joining the Ivy League Challenge.
2. Execute a meaningful impact project and then apply to become a mentor in the Global Impact Council
In your words...
I took some time to grab your answers to the questions I asked in our last class. Here is what you said:
What issue or problem were you facing before you discovered the Ivy League Challenge?
What did the frustration feel like as you tried to solve that problem?
Having finished the first part of the Ivy League Challenge, what would you say is different now?
Take us to the moment when you realized the Ivy League Challenge was actually working to solve your problem.
What does your life look like now that you have been through the first part of the program?
Your progress in the Starter Stage.

1. Your 7 viable impact project ideas
1. Create an organization that meets in a cafe and goes to libraries and donates to them, writing books and organizing contests for readers and writers, and empowers women and small communities 2. Create an organization that takes extra funds from stuff bought from cafes and donates it to libraries 3. Create a special type of mug that you can put drinks like coffee into and take it to libraries, and give the funds to libraries 4. Create an organization that hosts reading contests where people must take books from their local libraries and read them. 5. Fundraise for libraries nearby, get more appreciation for libraries by bringing awareness to their needs all throughout California (impossible option) 6. Create a book club where people passionately debate about their favorite book in a non-condescending manner. (Easy option) 7. Study with a professor to gain knowledge on how coffee works, and how to best make it. Then make an organization that gets coffee and different types of coffee all across the world, spreading coffee knowledge far and wide. It also earns money from each coffee cup bought from it and donates it to charities which fund nearby cafes.

2. Core Values
Thoughtful, curious, cunning, reserved

3. Your organizations
EveryLibrary, American Library Association, Speciality Coffee Association, International Coffee Organization, Little Free Library

4. Presented Solutions
Many organizations simply raise money for libraries, when in reality, what needs to happen is that people need to fall in love with books again. People are simply forgetting books and going to google. Raising money does certainly help, but in reality, a community needs to be built in the area.

5. Your first action step
I am going to start a book club with some of my friends where we drink coffee and debate or read books together.

6. Date and Time
I will start taking action as soon as I come back from my vacation, which should be early July.
